Coronavirus Response

How ISI is Responding to Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)

As COVID-19 quickly spreads on a global scale, many of our country’s systems and structures have been halted or changed indefinitely, including those in which international student ministry takes place. University campuses are closing, and international students are facing the harsh reality of what a campus shutdown looks like for them: displacement from their dormitories and travel restrictions keeping them from returning home.

As a ministry, International Students, Inc. is feeling the impact of COVID-19 on all levels. Our resilient staff across the globe are required to change their ministry tactics and connect with students remotely. They are helping to house displaced students as they are able, and students continue to commit their lives to Christ, even now! At the same time, and like much of the rest of the world, our staff are faced with the uncertainty of personal financial support, trusting the Lord for their provision.

As ISI adapts to the ever-changing circumstances, we continue to trust in the hope of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Our unwavering hope remains firm in Him and the peace that comes from the Holy Spirit to those who trust in Him. Though we do not know what the future holds, we know the One who holds the future!

Please join us in prayer for the world and our ministry. Please pray for the Lord to grant to us wisdom as we navigate a new landscape for ministry and adapt as needed. Pray for our staff and consider partnering with them financially as they face the task of reaching international students amidst uncertain times. Please also join us in praying for international students across our nation, that they would have what they need in trying times, and ultimately, that they would come to know their Savior.

Together in Him,

Seng
