Steve and Natasha Hope

As the Greater Boston City Director, Steve is responsible for ISI ministry among the 75,000 intl students, scholars and spouses in Greater Boston. His responsibilities include:

1. Coordinating intl student ministry through local churches.

2. Ministering directly with students and scholars on various campuses.

3. Overseeing and serving other ISI staff in Boston and the surrounding area.

4. Coordinating conferences and other activities for students and staff.

5. A founding member in 2002, and serving as the ISI representative on BCISS, the Boston Coalition for Intl Students and Scholars, which coordinates ISM among major ministries in Boston.

Natasha is serving as Harvard Campus Minister. Along with supporting many of the activities that fall under Steve’s responsibilities, she is focused on the ministry ‘in the home’. Tash helps organize the large monthly events that attract many new students as friends are often invited (these include more cultural activities such as Pumpkin Carving, Apple Picking, American Thanksgiving, Christmas celebration, Chinese New Year, Ice Fishing (Tash’s favorite!), Easter and Graduation celebrations with parents in town, etc…). Tash organizes and serves for our regular Friday night dinner (TGIF) with Alpha and Bible study and we have one-on-one discipleship, Bible studies and conversational English classes throughout the week.

Steve and Tash live in Harvard Square allowing students from all around Boston to very easily reach their home.
