Amber Carpenter
Amber has been involved in international student ministry since coming home from Japan in 2014, where she served as a missionary for three and a half years. Japanese still have a special place in her heart, but God has given her a passion for all international students. Before coming on staff with ISI, she has been involved with weekly student leader meetings as well as special events for international students throughout the greater Sacramento area, as part of the group called International Life. As campus staff, she is looking forward to plugging in with the existing work of campus Talk Times and Bible studies, as well as meeting with students individually. She will continue to work with International Life’s other activities as well and will take on a more active role in planning and facilitating events in conjunction with other ISI and Bridges International staff.
