Bethany started volunteering for ISI after graduating from the Perspectives on the World Christian Movement course. She has a long-held interest in other cultures and is particularly drawn to the peoples of East and Southeast Asia, but taking the course helped her realize God’s heart for the nations and excited her to find ways to get involved in what He is doing, especially among the many internationals coming to the United States. Through ISI, and through other local ministries, within the first year of volunteering, she was privileged to meet and get to know people from nearly 60 countries. She is excited to see what God has in store as she follows His lead to continue to serve with ISI.
