Jude and Maria “Anto” De Padua

Campus Staff
State College, PA

My name is Maria Antonietta, better known as Anto. I am native of Venezuela. I had a joyful childhood with my brother and my single mom at a mountain 30 min from the city. We had foggy mornings and spectacular afternoons throughout the year (no seasons). I started music lessons when I was 9 years old and have been playing classical music since then. I came to the U.S. in 2013 to study music in cello performance. I now know it was all part of God’s plan for me to come here. I accepted Christ as my savior months after coming to the U.S. and a new Anto was born then. I recently married the love of my life and we live in Pennsylvania where we both serve on campus ministry.

Things that I love: hosting events, meeting new people, getting to know different cultures, reading, playing music, and dancing. My two newest favorite things to do are playing volleyball and skiing. One of my favorite verse in the Bible is in James 1:17 “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”

My name is Jude-Andrew De Padua. I was born in the Philippines but most of my life was in the United States. I enjoy all types of international cuisine specifically Mediterranean food, but my favorite types of food include fish. In addition, I enjoy all types of physical activity, and love to be challenged. I graduated from Penn State with a chemical engineering degree and just recently married my wife Anto De Padua!

I want to see and be part of God’s global kingdom movement here at Penn State, and help support, mentor, and share moments of life with students so that they may experience the joy it is to know and follow Jesus. My favorite chapter of the bible is Psalms 1, specifically the part in delighting in the word of the Lord.
