Steve and Lia Dunne
Steve and Lia Dunne serve in Boise, Idaho and the surrounding area. We moved here from working with ISI in Santa Barbara to lead the team and are excited about serving and sharing Christ’s love with international students who will be leading their nations.
Currently, we share Christ’s love through matching students with American families for friendship, a discussion group on Friday nights, meeting students’ practical needs, serving Boise State’s International Student Services office, and providing social outings and gatherings for students to connect with American culture, Americans, and each other. We’re hoping to start several Bible studies and grow into other campuses in the surrounding area in the coming years.
Boise State University is the main school in their area, with 600 international students, over half of which are from Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Other top countries are Nepal, China, Japan, South Korea, and India.
