Golriz Shayani

As a former international student in the US, Golriz understands the challenges that students face while studying in the U.S. and being away from home. So, she has joined the ISI team to share God’s love with international students and help them adjust to their new life in the US. Prior to joining ISI, Golriz has been involved in events and programs for international students and scholars in the U.S. through ISI ministry in Colorado, as well as working at international student offices in both Greeley, Colorado, and Austin, Texas. Golriz also holds a PhD in Ethnomusicology, reflecting her love for learning about musical practices from various cultures around the world. As an ISI ministry representative, Golriz looks forward to participating in Bible studies, events, and activities where she can meet international students and enjoy fellowship with them.
