Jeff Newpher
Jeff Newpher is a missionary to international students who come from around the world to the University of Houston-Clear Lake and San Jacinto College campuses. With the cooperation of volunteers connected with multiple local congregations, students receive airport pick-ups, furniture, English conversation practice and invitations to events and activities, often leading to cross-cultural friendships, all at no charge.
When a student desires, discussions can include spiritual topics where students can share their faith and learn about others.
Jeff has been with International Students, Inc. since 2006, following careers in broadcast journalism and church administration. He is married with one daughter and they live in Seabrook, a suburb of Houston.
