Jill, and her husband Mike, began working with three other couples to start a ministry among international students at UMKC in 1989. In 1992, after a year of praying with others, God opened the doors to begin a Friendship Partner program in 1993 at Park University in Parkville, Missouri.

In 1996, they began working with ISI and in April 2010, Jill became an ISI Ministry Rep. In recent years, they also have an ISI Friendship Partner program at William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri.
