Mark and Leanna Meyer

Nebraska born and raised, we have a deep love for Jesus, the Huskers, and people from every nation. Our ministry is anchored in the words of 2 Thessalonians 2:8: “We loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.”
One of our greatest joys is welcoming international students into our home and family life. Around our dinner table, on a hike, kayaking, or over coffee, we enjoy creating a place where students feel seen, valued, and part of our family. Ministry for us is not only about sharing the gospel—it’s about opening our lives, inviting students into birthday celebrations, holiday traditions, outdoor adventures, and the everyday moments. That’s why a big part of ministry going forward includes matching students with friendship partners. We have seen the difference that deep friendships make in the lives of our international friends, and we want more people to experience that.
Our children—Natalie, Kara, and Joshua—are an active part of the ministry, building friendships of their own and showing students the welcome of being loved as family.
