We live in a suburb of Seattle Washington, USA about twenty kilometers north of Seattle.  Paul and I have been married for over 40 years. Our two adult children, Thomas and Rachel grew up with Japanese students visiting each summer.  In many of the past thirty years, Liz was both a home-stay teacher/coordinator and escort for groups of Japanese students coming to the Seattle area. Paul and Liz have both been on short term trips to and lived in Japan.  Yes, we liked Japan.  Liz was a Registered Nurse for the Everett School District, but went full-time with ISI (International Students Inc.)  In the summer of 2001, Paul and Liz started a Talk Time at our church.  We love to travel and see the world through the eyes of others.
