Phyllis Lawecki
Phyllis has been working with ISI on staff since 1997 in Buffalo, NY at the University at Buffalo. She directs the ISI English Conversation School twice a week for students and their families, meeting linguistic, cultural, social, spiritual and material needs. She also runs the ISI office on campus two days a week meeting students, leading Bible studies and giving help from editing papers to signing students up for ISI activities. She is currently leading a group of students at ISI’s Friday night International Student Fellowship in a discipleship and outreach course. She finds working with and discipling international students to reach their friends and families back home in their countries or wherever they go a satisfying involvement in the Great Commission.
