Sundeep Malickal
Originally from Mumbai, India, Sundeep came to the United States to study at Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS), where he graduated with a Th.M. Before this, he had a teaching career at a University of Mumbai affiliated college and worked as a senior consultant for two Big-4 Accounting firms in India. He holds a Bachelor’s in Management Studies from the University of Mumbai, a Master’s in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, and an M.Phil. in Planning & Development from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. He serves as a Campus Minister with International Students Inc. at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), while his wife, Pranutha, is pursuing her Ph.D. in Computer Engineering there.
They became followers of Christ while studying in India and are burdened to see thousands of international students on North American campuses know and experience the love of Jesus, believing the Kingdom of God will include people “from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages” (Rev 7:9). They have two daughters – one in high school and the other in middle school, both a great help to the international student ministry – and a 1-year-old son.
