Simon and Becky Zeigler
Simon and Becky met in Seattle where they served with ISI from 1998-2011. In August 2011 they moved back to their native California. Their daughter Charissa was born in 2002 in China. Simon has a heart to equip and encourage the staff in the Western region (WA, ID, MT, OR, CA, NV, UT, AZ) and nurture teamwork so staff will grow as they faithfully serve. Simon also recruits staff and churches for campuses with international students that are under-served. He gained a special interest in China after teaching English there in 1992-1993. He and his wife Becky especially enjoy welcoming and befriending Visiting Scholars at nearby U.C. Davis. Simon has a MA in Cross-Cultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary.
Becky, was a volunteer who left her job as an Occupational Therapist and became part-time Campus Staff with ISI in 1998. Her passion is mentoring interns, students, and scholars through Spiritual Direction, International Women’s Connection, Talk Time and Bible Studies in both individual and small group settings. She loves coming alongside others in their spiritual journey and seeing God transform hearts and lives. Becky has a Certificate in Spiritual Direction from Mars Hill Graduate School.
